What is it like to be an artist today?
In a way it's very difficult being an artist today; creating art is much more accessible to the whole population, which constantly challenges artists to innovate.
How would you define your work in 5 words?
Seamless, Collage, Surreal, Photo, Illustration.
What is the best tool to create a work of art? why?
I would say the best tools would be a combination of research and imagination. Research gives you the breadth of knowledge to create a sophisticated work of art, while imagination makes the work unique to your own thoughts and experiences.
What message do you wish to convey through your art?
I want to interpret and translate the real world and my own experiences by combining real-world elements in a way that makes them dreamlike.
Which facet of your art are you presenting in this exhibition?
I'm looking at how certain thoughts, actions, and experiences preserve or alter the way people present themselves to the exterior world, whether they are displaying their true selves or a manufactured version.
